How do I know if I have Medicare Part B?
If you are 65 or older and enrolled in Medicare, review your Medicare card. Look for “(Part B)” along with an effective date under “IS ENTITLED TO”:

How much will I pay for prescriptions filled under Medicare Part B?
Once you have met your annual Medicare B deductible, you will generally be responsible for 20% of the Medicare approved amount. Medicare’s approved amount is often lower than the retail price, so you can save a lot if you’ve been paying out of pocket for your medical equipment and supplies.
Also your MediGap or other secondary insurance may pay your deductible and/or copay, if applicable.  Let your H-E-B Pharmacist know about your secondary coverage, and we will handle the rest.  And remember, you can get a pneumonia immunization and an annual flu shot with no deductible or copay.

Please review our Medicare B brochure. Then print and fill out the authorization form. Bring the authorization form to your H-E-B pharmacy, along with your doctor’s prescription for a Medicare B covered item.
